Churchill Downs will offer three rounds of its Kentucky Derby Future Wager again in 2009.

The first pool is set for February 12-15, the second is scheduled for March 12-15, and the third will be conducted April 2-5. As in previous years, wagering on each of the Future Wager pools will open at noon ET on the first day of the pool’s Thursday-Sunday run. Betting will conclude at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Fans have the opportunity to wager in a pari-mutuel format on 24 betting interests in each Future Wager—interests that include 23 individual horses and another that includes all other three-year-olds.

The complete fields, with morning-line and updated odds, will be available on the Road to the Triple Crown website during each of the three pools.
