Contender Status

Trainer Bill Mott is considering Riley Tucker for the Preakness Stakes (G1).

Edgar Prado had been scheduled to ride El Gato Malo in the race, but when West Point Thoroughbreds decided to send El Gato Malo to the May 10 Lone Star Derby (G3) Mott tabbed Prado to ride Riley Tucker if he decides to run.
