Four tie for fastest furlong at Barretts breeze show

Four horses drilled one furlong in :09.80 on Friday for the fastest times at the distance during the under-tack show for the Barretts Equine Ltd. March sale of selected two-year-olds in training.
There are 134 horses cataloged for the one-day sale, which is set to begin on Monday at 2 p.m. PDT at Hinds Pavilion at Fairplex Park in Pomona, California.
Colts by A. P. Warrior, D’wildcat, and Stormin Fever and a filly by Holly Bull all tied for the quickest eighth of a mile.
The A. P. Warrior colt is offered by Murray Smith, agent, and the Stormin Fever colt is consigned by John O’Hara, agent. BC3 Thoroughbreds offers the D’wildcat colt and the Holly Bull filly.
Fillies by Fusaichi Pegasus and Roman Ruler, both consigned by Becky Thomas’ Sequel Bloodstock, agent, were the fastest at two furlongs, covering the distance in :20.80.
Smith, as agent, also consigns a More Than Ready colt, who worked the fastest three-eighths of a mile in :33.20.
