Storms force postponement of OBS under-tack show

The under-tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co.’s March sale of selected two-year-olds in training has been postponed until Saturday due to heavy rain and lightning.

With severe weather forecast for Friday, OBS moved the two-day breeze show to Saturday and Sunday.

Hip numbers 1-170 will breeze Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. EST, and hip numbers 171-340 will breeze on Sunday, also beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The March sale remains scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, with each session beginning at 11 a.m.

The under-tack show will be streamed live at obssales.com. The workouts will also be recorded and videos will be available, in their entirety or by individual hip number, the following day on the website.

The videos will also be available for viewing at the sales grounds and for in-room viewing at Ramada Inn, The Courtyard by Marriott, Homewood Suites, Residence Inn and the Ocala Hilton. Lounge viewing also is available at the Hilton.
