Aaron returns to Taylor Made Sales Agency

Posted: Tuesday, October 06, 2009 3:20 PM

Taylor Made Sales Agency has hired Leif Aaron to head its stakes filly recruiting program.

Aaron, who previously worked at Taylor Made for two years as a pedigree research director, recently graduated from the Darley Flying Start program.

“We had over 200 applicants for this position," said Mark Taylor, vice president of public sales. “We chose Leif because of his honesty and passion for customer service. We also are very impressed with the Darley Flying Start Program. Leif gained a global perspective of our industry while in Flying Start and made valuable contacts which will serve our customers well."

Aaron’s job will be to track and recruit stakes fillies for Taylor Made to sell in public or private transactions while observing bloodstock opportunities for the sales agency and its clients. The company says it has sold 42 fillies or mares for $1-million or more since 2004.

Leif graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in agricultural economics.  He started his career in the Thoroughbred business as a groom at Juddmonte Farms before taking the pedigree position at Taylor Made.
