Six tie for fastest furlong at Barretts under-tack

Two colts and four fillies worked an eighth of a mile in :10 to tie for the fastest time at the distance on Friday at the second of two under-tack shows for the Barretts Equine Ltd. May sale of two-year-olds in training.
The sale is set for Monday, beginning at 1 p.m. PDT at the Hinds Pavilion at Fairplex Park in Pomona, California.
Colts by Eurosilver and Forestry, each consigned by Ciaran Dunne’s Wavertree Stables, agent, were among the six horses to tie for the fastest-furlong breeze.
The Eurosilver colt is out of Tiz the Hour, by Tiznow. The Forestry colt is out of Wishful Splendor, by Smart Strike.
Also equaling the :10 clocking are fillies by Yankee Gentleman, Indian Charlie, Chief Seattle, and Roman Ruler.
The Yankee Gentleman filly is out Cajun Flash, by Bertrando, and is offered by Sam Hendricks, agent. The Indian Charlie filly is out of Depelchin, by Star de Naskra, and is consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, agent.
The Chief Seattle filly is out of Exceedtheprospect, by Allen’s Prospect, and is among the consignment of Havens Bloodstock Agency, agent, The Roman Ruler filly was produced by the Phone Trick mare Trickle Down and will be offered by Stephens Thoroughbreds, agent.
Forest National, a Forestry colt out of Goldendale, by Saint Ballado, turned in the fastest quarter-mile clocking of 20.80. The bay colt is offered by Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds, agent, which also consigns a Yes It’s True colt who worked three furlongs in :33, the fastest time at the distance. The colt is out of the Housebuster mare Chelsie’s House.
