Colts by Gimmeawink, Not For Love shine at Barretts under-tack show

Colts by Gimmeawink and Not For Love turned in the fastest one-furlong breezes on Thursday at the first of two under-tack shows for the Barretts May two-year-olds in training sale.
Both colts breezed one furlong in :09.80.
Eddie Woods, agent, consigned the Gimmeawink colt, a half brother to multiple stakes winner Calico Bay. The bay colt is out of Countryswishingwell, by Country Pine.
The Not For Love colt is out of Gallelujah, by Honour and Glory, and was consigned by Ciaran Dunne’s Wavertree Stables, agent.
A Harlan’s Holiday filly breezed two furlongs in :20.80, Thursday’s fastest quarter-mile clocking. Murray Smith, agent, consigned the bay filly out of Leading the Way, by Septieme Ciel.
Thursday’s fastest three-furlong breeze was turned in by a Cherokee Run colt, who covered the distance in :33.60. Consigned by B.C.3 Thoroughbreds, agent, the bay colt is a half brother to Grade 3-placed winner Flirt With Fortune and is out of multiple stakes winner Flirty Frosty, by Pleasant Colony.
The second under-tack show starts at 10 a.m. PDT on Friday. The one-day sale begins at 11 a.m. PDT on Tuesday.
