Two-year-old fillies by Cactus Ridge and Decarchy turned in the fastest one-furlong breezes on Monday at the under-tack show for the Barretts Equine Ltd. summer sale of horses of racing age and two-year-olds in training.

The one-day Barretts summer sale begins at 11 a.m. PDT on Tuesday at Hinds Pavilion in Pomona, California.

The Cactus Ridge filly and the Decarchy filly each covered one furlong in :10.40.

Consigned by L & R Bloodstock, agent, the Cactus Ridge filly is out of the unraced Cox’s Ridge mare Miz Riz, a half sister to stakes winner Myfriendwil.

Named A Clever Ten, the Decarchy filly is from the consignment of Sam Hendricks, agent. She is out of the unraced Clever Trick mare Cleverness, a half sister to Grade 3 winner Our Summer Bid.

A two-year-old High Demand gelding drilled a quarter-mile in :22 to record the fastest time at the distance. Out of the Summer Squall mare Nordic Weather, the dark bay or brown gelding is from the consignment of Havens Bloodstock Agency, agent.

A four-year-old Robannier filly and a five-year-old Helmsman gelding each worked three furlongs in :34.40, the fastest times at that distance.

Consigned by Havens Bloodstock Agency, agent for Robert H. Walter Family Trust, the filly is out of the stakes-winning Falstaff mare Ivory Bowl. A half sister to stakes winner Robador, the unraced Robannier filly is named Robadorable.

The unraced Helmsman gelding is a half brother to stakes-placed winner Serene in Seattle. Consigned by Sam Hendricks, agent for Madera Thoroughbreds, he is out of the unraced Summer Time Guy mare Lil Bit Tough.
