The 2008 Breeders Sales Co. of Louisiana Inc.’s annual horse sale will be held September 29-30 at the Ike Hamilton Equine Exposition Center in West Monroe, Louisiana.

This year’s sale will be for yearlings only. No mixed session will be held as in previous years.

Entry fee is $300 and the sale is limited to 450 yearlings due to space limitations. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Deadline for entries is July 7. Consignors’ contracts will be mailed on June 15.

New for 2008, two sales stakes—the A.L. Erwin Memorial Stakes and the Elge Rasberry Memorial Stakes—will offer an additional $150,000 in purses for horses sold in the Breeders' Sales Co. of Louisiana sale as yearlings.
