William Inglis & Son to assist in post-ring purchases

William Inglis & Son wants to assist buyers and sellers in coming together for post-ring purchases of horses that failed to meet their reserves.

The Australian auction company announced an addition to their website www.inglis.com.au that will allow a potential buyer to send a message to the mobile phone of an Inglis sales representative, who will then verify the offer with the buyer, if applicable advise on conformation and vetting, and negotiate the private sale with the vendor on their behalf.

“Post-sale service is very important to us here at William Inglis, as we feel it is an integral part of the complete sales service we offer our vendors,” William Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster said. “If the horse fails to sell in the ring, we want to give vendors as much opportunity to sell their horses after the sale as possible and for buyers, make this sales process as easy as possible.

“This is a win-win for buyers and vendors that are dealing in horses after they have gone through the ring.”

The service will be available starting with the inaugural Australian Weanling and Breeding Stock Sale, June 26, 27, and 29.
