Riley James purchased the top-priced filly of the session, a bay Northern Afleet filly, named Aegean, for $70,000. Consigned by Cutting Edge Equine, agent, she is the first foal produced by the Aptitude mare Apt to Star.
The four-day sale concludes Thursday.
