Four juveniles work fastest furlong at OBSC show

A colt by City Zip and fillies by Langfuhr, Officer, and Pleasantly Perfect drilled one furlong in :10 on Thursday, the fastest workouts at the distance at the third of four under-tack shows for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co.’s spring sale of two-year-olds in training.

Woodside Ranch, agent, consigned the City Zip colt, who is out of the Play On mare Play Po. The Officer filly, consigned by Bruno DeBerdt’s and Rudy Delguidice’s Excel Bloodstock, agent, is out of the Smile mare Not to Be Outdone.

The Langfuhr filly is out of Race to Glory, by Honour and Glory, and was consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, agent. Harris Training Center, agent, consigned the Pleasantly Perfect filly, who is out of Separata (Chi), by Sam M.

Colts by Songandaprayer and High Yield and fillies by Posse and Roar of the Tiger worked two furlongs in :21, the fastest time at the distance.

Terry Oliver’s and Bo Hunt’s O&H Bloodstock consigned the Posse filly, who is out of the Crafty Prospector mare Real Crafty Belle. The Roar of the Tiger filly was consigned by Blue River Bloodstock, agent, and is out of the Sultry Song mare Penn Central.

Blue River Bloodstock also consigned Storm Door, a High Yield colt who is out of the Piccolino mare See U At My Window. James Layden, agent, consigned the Songandaprayer colt, who is out of the Chief’s Crown mare Miss Delta.

Raging Prune Face, a Gulf Storm filly consigned by Sescan, agent, worked three furlongs in :33.40, Thursday’s fastest clocking for the distance. The dark bay or brown filly is out of the Dance Brightly mare Raging Dancer.
Hips 691 through 1,036 breezed on Thursday and will be offered on April 23. The four-day sale begins on April 21. Sale sessions begin at 10:30 a.m. EDT daily.

The final under-tack show begins at 9 a.m. today. Hips 1,037 through 1,381 will be offered on April 24.
