Hussonet filly tops penultimate Magic Millions session

A Hussonet filly sold for $52,589 ($58,000 Australian) to top the seventh session of the Conrad Jupiters Magic Millions yearling sale on Tuesday in Queensland, Australia.

Bill Andrews purchased the filly out of the Raise a Stanza mare My Sweetie, a half sister to Australian Group 3 winner Alma Mater, from the consignment of Sellwood Holdings, agent.

Ron Macrae went to $49,868 ($55,000 Australian) for a chestnut colt by Sequalo, the top-priced colt of the day. Consigned by Lyndhurst Stud Farm, agent, the colt is out of the Gilded Time mare Discord, a half sister to Australian multiple Group 3 winner Belmonte.

The eight-session sale concludes Wednesday.
