Case Clay has been named president and chief operating officer of Robert and Blythe Clay’s Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Kentucky.
Case Clay succeeds Dan Rosenberg and will assume the position on December 31.
“I am delighted to announce that Case will assume the positions of president and chief operating officer that Dan Rosenberg has so ably filled,” Robert Clay said. “He has an outstanding management team and staff who are excited about continuing the Three Chimneys tradition of integrity and customer service.
“Dan will remain affiliated with the farm as a director and consultant, and we count on his counsel and expertise as we move forward.”
Case Clay joined Three Chimneys Farm in 2002 and currently serves as director of sales. He serves on the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association board of directors, the National Thoroughbred Racing Association political action committee, and Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass.
He spent a year at Irish National Stud in County Kildare, Ireland, and Arrowfield Stud in Scone, Australia.
“I will continue to be Three Chimneys’ director of sales because I love being involved with the horses and our customers,” Case Clay said. “I have big shoes to fill and I am looking forward to this exciting opportunity.”
Prior to joining Three Chimneys, Clay graduated from DePauw University with a major in economics. He previously worked at Arlington Park, Ernst & Young, and Hyatt Corporation.
