Fasig-Tipton Texas December mixed sale begins Sunday

The one-day Fasig-Tipton Texas December mixed sale will be held on Sunday at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas, beginning at 11 a.m. CST.

Sponsored by the Texas Thoroughbred Association, the sale is broken down into four sections in the 187-horse catalog and will begin with broodmares, broodmare prospects, and stallions. The Fasig-Tipton December mixed sale will follow with weanlings, yearlings, and horses of racing age.

Covering sires in the sale include Authenticate Cactus Ridge, City Zip, Dixieland Heat, Dove Hunt, Even the Score, Open Forum, Precocity, Quest, Running Stag, Storm Passage, Suave Prospect, Truluck, Wagon Limit, and perennial leading Texas sire Valid Expectations.

Valid Expectations also is among the sires represented by weanlings in the sale as are Authenticate, City Zip, Dove Hunt, Even the Score, Holzmeister, Honour and Glory, Memo (Chi), Midway Road, Peace Rules, Pure Prize, Quest, Seattle Sleet, Sligo Bay (Ire), Stormy Atlantic, Truluck, Unforgettable Max, Wagon Limit, and Wimbledon.

Sire of yearlings include Distinction, Ecton Park, Five Star Day, Jade Hunter, Leestown, Littlebitlively, Littleexpectations, Macho Uno, Milwaukee Brew, Our Emblem, Silver Ghost, Slew City Slew, Trust N Luck, Valid Expectations, and Vicar.
