Fasig-Tipton Co. will manage annual yearling sales at Woodbine for two years beginning in 2002. The sales company will handle selections, cataloging, and promotions as well as conducting the auctions at the track near Toronto.

The Woodbine sales will take place annually the first week of September and consist of a one-day select session and two days of open sessions.

"For many years Fasig-Tipton conducted the auction schedule at Woodbine, and we are looking forward to meeting the challenges created for Thoroughbred sales there by the exciting new racing environment in Canada," said Fasig-Tipton President Walt Robertson.
