Stakes winner Tactical Move tops second OBSC session

Tactical Move, who registered her only career stakes victory a stones throw away from the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co.'s sales grounds, landed a final bid of $63,000 to top the second consignor preferred session of OBSC's fall mixed sale on Tuesday in Ocala. Mike Aker's Dapple Bloodstock, agent, was listed as the buyer of Tactical Move, a five-year-old daughter of Tactical Advantage. Sold in foal to multiple graded stakes winner Commitisize, Tactical Move is out of the Silver Buck mare Silver Nova from the family of stakes winners Proud Nova, Kiwi Mint, and Kiwi Sunshine.

Sean Kelly's Wycombe House Stud, agent, consigned the mare for Ocala horseman Niall Brennan and an unnamed partner.

"Certainly considering the market we're very happy," Brennan said. "Before the sale I expected to buy out my partner at $30,000 or $35,000, but she's such a pretty mare I saw people liked her."
