The Texas Thoroughbred Association is offering seasons to more than 75 stallions on its Web site through Friday.Among the stallions represented are Valid Expectations and Open Forum, the nation's top two freshman sires, and Boone's Mill, Mystery Storm, Naevus, Wild Zone, Tejano Run, Anet, More Than Ready, and Wekiva Springs.

The seasons were offered to the TTA by stallion owners with proceeds to benefit the organization's political action committee or general fund.

"We appreciate the generosity of the many stallion owners who have made scores of popular seasons available for bid this year," said Dave Hooper, executive director of the TTA. "The TTA Web site offers a quick, easy, and secure way for mare owners nationwide to acquire a 2002 breeding season to a stallion of their choice at a good competitive price. But time is quickly running out, so mare owners should act promptly."
