I'll Get Along brings $130,000 to top Keeneland Sunday session
Stakes-winning broodmare I'll Get Along, who is believed in foal to Doneraile Court, brought a final bid of $130,000 to top the Sunday session of the Keeneland November breeding stock sale in Lexington.Brent Fernung, agent for Cloverleaf Farm, signed the ticket for the nine-year-old daughter of champion sprinter Smile. Consigned by Walnut Green, agent for Someday Farm, I'll Get Along is out of stake-winning Foolish Pleasure mare Don't Worry About Me, a half sister to Group 1 winner Basie and to stakes winners Ask Clarence and Passing Base. I'll Get Along, a half sister to multiple Grade 3 winner Cowboy Cop, has produced a yearling filly by Formal Gold and a weanling colt by Elusive Quality.
On the racetrack, I'll Get Along had 12 wins in 39 starts and earnings of $276,969.
Doneraile Court's first foals are weanlings of 2001.
Keeneland reported sales of 280 horses for total receipts of $6,086,100, a 32% drop from last year's corresponding session when 263 horses were sold for $8,943,300. Average price dropped 36% to $21,736 from $34,005 and median fell 44.4% to $15,000 from $27,000.
