OBSC catalogs 720 for winter mixed sale
The Ocala Breeders Sales Co. has cataloged 720 horses for its winter mixed sale on January 14-15 in Ocala.
The number cataloged for next year's sale is 38.3% less than the number in last year's catalog, which featured 1,166 horses. The sale begins with the one-day consignor preferred session on January 14.
Last year's OBSC winter mixed sale saw 684 of the 989 horses offered sell for a total of $5,394,400, an average of $7,887 and median of $4,200.
