Chantilly Bloodstock signed the ticket for the six-year-old daughter of Slew o' Gold. Consigned by Haras de Bois Carrouges, Bayourida won the 1998 Prix Madame Jean Couturie. She is out of Group 3 winner Bellarida (Fr), by Bellypha (Ire), and is a half sister to Group 3 placed Bellona and stakes-placed Fumarelli.

Anabaa, a promising sophomore stallion by Danzig who stands in Australia, has sired six stakes winners from 122 foals of racing age, including 2001 Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby [Fr-G1]) winner Anabaa Blue.

Despite offering 44 more horses during this year's Saturday session as compared to 2000, total receipts fell 10.1% to $3,691,626 (27,193,000 francs) from $4,108,623 (30,262,000). A total of 140 horses were sold for an average of $26,369 (194,236 francs), down 30% from last year when 109 horses were sold for an average of $37,690 (277,633 francs).
