Three tracks cancel racing
on Wednesday due to snow

Posted: Tuesday, February 09, 2010 1:27 PM

With more snow and freezing temperatures in the forecast for the Mid-Atlantic region, Aqueduct, Penn National Race Course, and Laurel Park cancelled live racing on Wednesday.

Laurel Park in Maryland also cancelled Thursday’s card with ten to 20 inches of snow expected to fall by Wednesday night in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area. Laurel has lost five days of live racing so far this meet, its most since 2003.

Aqueduct’s entire facility will be closed on Wednesday.

Penn National will reschedule Wednesday's card for Saturday.
