Bessemer Trust Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) winner Stardom Bound, a leading contender for the Eclipse Award as champion two-year-old filly, might make her 2009 debut in the one-mile Las Virgenes Stakes (G1) on February 7.

Stardom Bound won three Grade 1 races as a juvenile. She was purchased for $5.7-million at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky selected fall mixed sale and will make her three-year-old debut for new trainer Bobby Frankel.

“I might run her back in the Las Virgenes. She’s doing that good,” Frankel said Thursday morning. “She’s a nice filly to train. She does everything right. She’s just a good-feeling filly.”

Chris Paasch trained the Tapit filly for previous owner Charle Cono.
