Rolbea Thoroughbred Racing’s homebred multiple graded stakes winner Finallymadeit was euthanized after suffering a fractured left front cannon bone during a workout on Tuesday at Saratoga Race Course.

The connections transferred Finallymadeit to the barn of Timothy Ritvo following the five-year-old Concerto horse’s fourth-place finish, beaten just 2 1/2 lengths by Dry Martini, in the Suburban Handicap (G2) on July 4 at Belmont Park (video). Finallymadeit finished third behind Gold Trippi and Pyro in the James Marvin Stakes on July 29 at Saratoga (video), where his connections had planned to run him in this Saturday’s Whitney Handicap (G1).

Finallymadeit won a stakes race each year since 2007 and really came on this winter, winning the Fred W. Hooper Handicap (G3) (video) at Calder Race Course prior to finishing second to Albertus Maximus in the Donn Handicap (G1) (video)and winning the Skip Away Stakes (G3) (video) and Memorial Day Handicap (G3) (video).

Bred in Florida by Rolando Rodriguez and Rolbea Stables, Finallymadeit was out of multiple stakes winner Gold for My Gal, by Gold Alert. He won 16 of 47 career starts and earned $1,026,640. Javier Negrete had trained Finallymadeit through the Suburban.
