Multiple Grade 3-placed winner Indian Sun will bid for his second win and first stakes victory in the $200,000 Robert B. Lewis Stakes (G2) on Saturday at Santa Anita Park.

Cecil Peacock’s Indian Charlie colt finished second to El Gato Malo in the San Rafael Stakes (G3) on January 12 at Santa Anita in his three-year-old debut.

Trained by Dan Hendricks, Indian Sun posted a runner-up finish in the Generous Stakes (G3) on November 23 and closed his juvenile campaign with a fifth-place finish in the CashCall Futurity (G1) on December 22, both at Hollywood Park.

Indian Sun will face four challengers in the 1 1/16-mile race for three-year-olds, including Grade 3-placed Meal Penalty and undefeated Reflect Times (Jpn). Crown of Thorns and Coast Guard also are entered.

Sassafras Racing’s and Gulf Coast Farms’ Meal Penalty finished third in the Hollywood Prevue Stakes (G3) on November 22 prior to an unplaced finish in the CashCall Futurity.

Trained by Todd Pletcher, the Tale of the Cat colt enters off a fifth-place finish in the San Pedro Stakes on January 20 at Santa Anita.

Reflect Times is undefeated in two career starts and will stretch out to 1 1/16 miles for the first time.

Trained by John Shirreffs for Koji Maeda, the French Deputy colt won a 6 1/2-furlong allowance race on December 28 at Santa Anita in his most recent start after winning his debut at Del Mar on September 1.
