Clear skies greeted fans at Pimlico Race Course on Saturday morning, a few hours after Big Brown geared up for the Preakness Stakes (G1) with a two-furlong workout.

The Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) winner was clocked in :25.80 under regular exercise rider Michelle Nevin.

After jogging on a sloppy main track Friday, Big Brown had a fast track for Saturday's breeze, which was his most serious exercise since winning the Derby two weeks ago.

The Pimlico turf course was rated as good by the time the 13-race live program began at 10:30 a.m. EDT.

Temperatures are expected to reach the low 70s on Saturday afternoon. The Preakness, carded as race 12, is scheduled to be run at 6:15.
