My List unleashed a determined bid in the stretch and reeled in five opponents to win the $162,204 Hendrie Stakes (Can-G3) on Sunday at Woodbine.

Trained by Nicholas Gonzalez for owner Tucci Stables, My List earned her third straight win and second Grade 3 victory. She closed from five wide in the stretch under Eurico Da Silva and overhauled runner-up One Across late en route to a 1½-length win as the 2.55-to-1 second wagering choice.

Marina Ballerina seized the early lead and set the tempo through a half-mile in :44.89 while My List settled off the pace in eighth. Marina Ballerina held a one length lead over One Across in early stretch as My List narrowed the gap on the turn and advanced to sixth, five lengths back, in early stretch.

When Da Silva asked for her rally, My List surprised him as she eagerly inhaled four opponents and took aim on One Across, who gained command with a furlong to run. My List wore her down in the closing strides for the clear win.

“I had almost given up on her today,” Da Silva said of My List, who covered the 6½ furlongs on the synthetic Polytrack surface in 1:15.73. “She was so far out of it. I thought she had too much to do. She wore them down and got there. It’s almost beyond belief. To see the performance she put in today was awesome to watch.”

One Across, who was bidding for her first stakes win, finished one length in front of third-place finisher Street Sounds, the 1.35-to-1 favorite in the nine-horse field

A four-year-old Banker’s Gold filly, My List was a $1,200 purchase by Gonzalez at the 2005 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall yearling sale. She is undefeated in two starts this season following her victory in the Whimsical Stakes (Can-G3) at Woodbine on April 20. She won three of 11 starts last year, capped by a victory in the Bessarabian Stakes on November 25 to close the season.

Bred in Kentucky by Kent Ochs, Margaux Farm, and Don Camiccia, My List is out of the Batonnier mare Enduring Charm. She improved to six wins in 21 career starts and boosted her earnings to $511,880.
