Jockey Glen Murphy has been suspended and fined after an electrical device was found in his car during a compliance inspection on Thursday by the Texas Racing Commission at Lone Star Park.

After the 40-year-old El Paso, Texas, native waived his right to a hearing. The racetrack’s board of stewards issued its ruling Saturday.
