Peppers Pride, who is undefeated in 16 career starts, will go for a record-breaking 17th straight victory when she starts in the $50,000 Lincoln Handicap at Ruidoso Downs on Sunday.

Currently, the five-year-old Desert God mare is tied with Citation, Cigar, Mister Frisky, and Hallowed Dreams for the most consecutive wins.

The Lincoln Handicap was rescheduled from July 27, when heavy rain caused flooding and significant damage to the Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico, area.
