Keeneland $3.2-million purchase wins debut
Charming led at every point of call en route to a narrow victory as the 3-to-2 favorite in her career debut on Thursday at Keeneland Race Course.
The Seeking the Gold filly was purchased by trainer Todd Pletcher for owner James Scatuorchio for $3.2-million at the 2006 Keeneland September yearling sale.
Charming is the first starter out of 2002 Ashland Stakes (G1) and ‘02 and ’03 Overbrook Spinster Stakes (G1) winner Take Charge Lady, by Dehere.
