Bejarano earns fourth victory of day

Posted: Saturday, May 05, 2007 5:40 PM

Rafael Bejarano picked up his fourth victory of the day when he rallied Hystericalady from just off the pace in the Humana Distaff Stakes (G1).

Earlier on the card Bejarano and Take the Ribbon teamed to win the Churchill Distaff Turf Mile (G3) by a nose. Bejarano also won the Churchill Downs Stakes (G2) aboard Saint Anddan and the day’s opener aboard odds-on favorite Ginger Punch.

Bejarano, a perennial leading rider at Churchill, will guide Dominican in today’s Kentucky Derby.
