Wait a While and Price Tag (GB) won prestigious stakes at Hollywood Park last year and might face each other first time on July 6 at the Inglewood, California, track in the $1-million CashCall Mile Invitational Stakes (G2).

Wait a While has not raced at Hollywood since her victory in the American Oaks Invitational Stakes (G1) in July 2006, which helped launch her to champion three-year-old filly honors.

Price Tag closed 2006 with a victory in the one-mile Matriarch Stakes (G1) at Hollywood. She finished a fast-closing second to stablemate Citronnade in the Gamely Breeders’ Cup Stakes (G1) on May 28 in her previous start.

My Typhoon (Ire), who beat Wait a While in the Jenny Wiley (G2) and Just a Game (G2) Stakes, also is a candidate for the CashCall Mile.

The North American contingent also might include Gallorette Handicap (G3) winner Precious Kitten, Ouija Board Distaff Handicap (G3) winner Lady of Venice (Fr), Nassau Stakes (Can-G2) winner Strike Softly, Grade 1 winner Dancing Edie, and Grade 2 winner Somethinaboutlaura.

South African Grade 2 winner Alexandra Rose will make her first start in the United States after being transferred to trainer Neil Drysdale’s barn.

Kiss to Heaven, winner of the 2006 Oka Sho (Japanese One Thousand Guineas), is one of three CashCall Mile invitees from Japan, along with stakes winners Dia de la Novia and Kouita.

Dance in the Mood (Jpn) shipped in from Japan to win last year’s CashCall Mile.
