Champion two-year-old male Street Sense breezed a half-mile on Monday morning at Palm Meadows Training Center in his first published workout of the year.

Clockers caught the Street Cry (Ire) colt in :53 over a fast track.

Trainer Carl Nafzger is considering Street Sense for the 7 ½-furlong Hutcheson Stakes (G2) on March 3 at Gulfstream Park as a tuneup for the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1) on April 14 at Keeneland Race Course and the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) on May 5 at Churchill Downs.

Street Sense spent about 45 days in light training after his record ten-length victory in the Bessemer Trust Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) on November 4 at Churchill. He began a regular training regimen in early January.
