Thilled will Bill Mott getting this Eclipse Award.
As for the other posted comments--you can please some of the people some of the time, etc, etc.
Voting went pretty much the way almost everyone figured. No suprises. Tho I agree that Calebs Posse had a good season, I don't think he was "overlooked"...the amount of votes recd is commendable. He was good but not quite good enough. I don't think the Derby should guarantee a championship but there were no outstanding 3 year olds.
By the way, kudos to the owner of To Honor and Serve to keep him in training. True sportswoman.

Can't say that I agree with the choices for Champion 3YO Male and Champion Older Male. I think that Caleb's Posse and Game on Dude were the deserving winners of those awards. But hey, all we can hope for is a more exciting year of racing than the one we had. Truly no standout Americans, unfortunately.

Calebs Posse is too good of a horse to walk away from these awards with nothing. Something isn't right with that. The entire award ceremony was a bit flat and dull, like the year 2011 was for racing. Still think Calebs Posse is better than he's being credited.
