WinStar Farm to host Kentucky Derby fantasy contest

WinStar Farm will host a free online Kentucky Derby Fantasy Contest for prizes, including box seats for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) on May 1.

The free game lets participants draft 15 horses into their fantasy stable and the player who accumulates the most earnings from February 13 through April 17 wins.

“We are hoping to offer fans, handicappers, and potential new owners unique access to the world of WinStar,” said Elliott Walden, WinStar’s vice president and racing manager.

First prize is two third floor box seat tickets to the 2010 Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks (G1), round-trip coach airfare, lodging for three nights, and a VIP tour of WinStar Farm. Second place offers two third floor box seat tickets to the Derby and a WinStar tour while third place garners two third floor box seat tickets to the Oaks and a tour of WinStar.

Additional prizes include the right to name a WinStar horse, halters, pictures, gift baskets, and more.
