The next stop for New Orleans Saints quarterback and Super Bowl XLIV Most Valuable Player Drew Brees may be Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1).

The Indianapolis Star reports Brees owns three-year-old gelding Daddy Forty Nine along with singer Jimmy Buffett, Saints coach Sean Peyton, and ESPN Monday Night Football broadcasters Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski, and Jon Gruden as the ownership group Last Mango Racing Stable.

Daddy Forty Nine, by Ghostzapper, is being pointed toward the Louisiana Derby (G2) on March 27.
