As 2009 draws to a close, opinions regarding who and what were the best of an exciting year in Thoroughbred racing are raging, and the Thoroughbred Times Best of 2009 poll allows you to weigh in on all the hot topics from the year.
In the magazine’s second annual Best of poll, the survey covers topics ranging from the world’s best racehorse to the most fan-friendly innovation in Thoroughbred racing. SurveyMonkey.com will tabulate the results, and Thoroughbred Times will publish them in its annual Best of issue in its weekly dated December 26.
“Everyone involved in racing has an opinion, and clearly, this year, a lot of people have very strong opinions on what they saw on the racetrack,” said Thoroughbred Times Editor Mark Simon. “By engaging our readers and asking for their input about a variety of subjects, we give everyone a chance to participate in honoring the year’s best in racing.
“There are a lot of great things that happen in the sport every year, and this feature allows us to recognize the excellence of many individuals, horses, and racetracks.”
The poll will be open through Thanksgiving Weekend, November 29. Those wishing to weigh in on a particular issue or thoughts on the year in racing should send their letter via e-mail to letters@thoroughbredtimes.com.
