The New York Racing Association created the position of operations manager at Saratoga Race Course and appointed Kevin J. Gremillion to the role.
Gremillion will oversee administrative planning and financial management of the capital project agenda and daily operations at the Saratoga Springs, New York, racetrack.
“Given our ambitious capital improvement plans for 2009 and beyond, Kevin’s appointment will endure that NYRA is well positioned for success,” said John Ryan, NYRA senior vice president and chief administrative officer.
Gremillion previously served as senior associate for Alvarez and Marsal, a management consulting firm specializing in financial restructuring and crisis management. Gremillion oversaw more than $100-million in restoration projects for the New Orleans Public Schools.
