KEEP rally for racetrack VLTs set for June 17

The Kentucky Equine Education Project is urging those who support the state’s horse industry to rally for expanded gambling next week in Frankfort.

The Kentucky Legislature will hear Governor Steve Beshear’s expanded gambling proposal, which calls for video lottery terminals at racetracks, during a special session, which begins June 15.

The Lexington-based advocacy group will stage the rally at 10 a.m. EDT on June 17 at the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort.
