Mullis named track announcer at Presque Isle Downs

Ron Mullis of Louisville has been named track announcer at Presque Isle Downs, which opens a 100-day live meeting on May 8.
Katie Mikolay of Chicago will return for a second year as simulcast host at the Erie, Pennsylvania, track. Mikolay and Mullis will co-host the “Handicapping between the Lines with Ron & Katie” show each live racing day.
The upcoming meet will mark the first time that Mullis has served as a track announcer for an entire meeting. He previously served as a simulcast host along with Mikolay.
“I have had a passion for racing my entire life and this is just one more aspect of the racing game,” Mullis said. “I’m excited to be back at Presque Isle Downs for another great meet.”
