Duo appointed to CHRB

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed Keith Brackpool and Richard Rosenberg to the California Horse Racing Board.
The seven-member board had two open seats following the resignation of Richard Shapiro in December and the expiration of John Andreini’s term in July.
Brackpool, 52, is the president, chief executive officer, and board chairman of Cadiz, a land and water resource development company.
Rosenberg, 70, was the executive vice president of the William Morris Agency from 1992 to 2005, prior to his retirement.
Both positions require confirmation by the California Senate.
