Wife of trainer Hough dies

Cinda Hough, the wife of New York-based trainer Stanley Hough, died on Saturday night in Boca Raton, Florida, after a long battle with cancer.

The Houghs’s son, Sean, was married hours earlier.

“She had a tough night the night before, and she couldn’t make the wedding,” Hough said. “But she had a chance to see her family and friends and the nurses here did a wonderful job. She died without any pain.”

Stanley Hough went into semi-retirement in 2001 for around seven months to be with his wife after she was diagnosed with cancer.
