Cannizzo appointed to N.Y. breeders' group

Jeffrey Cannizzo has been named executive director of New York Thoroughbred Breeders’ Inc. in Saratoga Springs, New York.
“New York racing and breeding has been a part of my family’s life for the past four decades,” Cannizzo said. “Thus the appreciation and passion for this breed has been instilled in my bloodlines. As early as I can remember my days were spent working around Thoroughbreds.”
Cannizzo brings ten years of business development and management consulting experience to the new position after working for Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, and Daily Racing Form.
“The livelihood of New York racing and breeding is of great importance to me,” Cannizzo said. “It’s my passion and mission to continue to improve its well being and support the individuals who devote each day towards making New York racing and breeding premiere.”
