Canterbury Park to begin trading on NASDAQ

Canterbury Park Holding Corp. announced on Friday that it has been approved for listing on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol “CPHC.”

Trading on the NASDAQ Global Market is expected to commence on August 26. The company’s common stock will continue to trade on the American Stock Exchange until the market closes on August 25.

“We are pleased to announce the company’s listing on the NASDAQ Global Market,” said Randy Sampson, Canterbury’s president and chief executive officer. “We believe the move to NASDAQ, the world’s largest electronic stock market, will improve the visibility of our stock, enhance trading liquidity in our shares, and provide the company with greater exposure to institutional investors.”
