Five generations of a Thoroughbred’s pedigree are now available for free on www.equineline.com, the Jockey Club Information Systems online information service.

The five-cross pedigree includes inbreeding, nicking statistics, and dosage information. The information comes directly from the Jockey Club’s database and from Thoroughbred stud book authorities around the world.

“Providing a single proven source to obtain free, reliable five-cross pedigree information will assist industry members in their research and will complement our other products, which offer more extensive information and are available for purchase,” said Carl Hamilton, chairman and president of the Jockey Club Information Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Jockey Club.
