The Feature Race Analysis Challenge, a multimedia interactive contest available on the Thoroughbred Times website, www.thoroughbredtimes.com, returns for the summer and fall racing seasons and contains many of the leading prep races for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships on October 24-25 at Santa Anita Park.

The Challenge will be sponsored by binoculars manufacturer Celestron.

The FRA Challenge for the summer and fall will include 12 races and starts with the Arlington Million Stakes (G1) on August 9 at Arlington Park.

A non-competition Feature Race Analysis of the Haskell Invitational Stakes Presented by Vonage (G1), to be run on August 3 at Monmouth Park, will launch on Thursday.

Other races in the FRA Challenge include such prestigious events as the Travers Stakes (G1), Pacific Classic Stakes (G1), and Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes (G1). The contest concludes with the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) on October 25 at Santa Anita.

Participants select horses in each of the 12 stakes races leading up to and including the Classic. Scoring for the seasonal contest is based on the official finish position of each race, with ten points earned for first, three points for second, and one point for third.

Prizes will be announced prior to the beginning of the Challenge next week.

To help contestants follow the action leading up to the Breeders’ Cup, Thoroughbred Times launched its Road to the Breeders’ Cup website, available at www.thoroughbredtimes.com in late July.
