Breeders’ Cup Ltd. on Monday unveiled the official event logo for the 25th running of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.

This year’s two-day event will take place October 24-25 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California.

In December, the Breeders’ Cup announced it added three races to the 2008 championships for a record 14 races as part of the two-day format.

This year marks the second year of both the two-day championships format and the Breeders’ Cup Challenge, a series of qualifying races to advance to the Breeders’ Cup.
