Churchill replays to be available on YouTube.com

Churchill Downs Inc. has signed an agreement with YouTube.com to provide free race replays on one of the World Wide Web’s most visited websites.
“That content is better off in the public domain,” said Vernon Niven, executive vice president of technology for Churchill Downs Inc. “We hope that younger players find that makes us easier to do business with.”
The replays will be tagged with handicapping information. The agreement is part of a larger push by the Louisville-based company to make its content more readily available on the Internet.
Other developments include creating a Kentucky Derby universe on Netvibes.com, which Niven said is a popular way among users who are less than 40 years old to consume information on the World Wide Web.
