Fundraiser set for injured California breeder Hubbard

A fundraiser coinciding with the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association’s Northern California yearling sale on September 25 in Pleasanton will benefit Sue Hubbard, a breeder who was severely injured in an auto accident on June 27.

Hubbard is the owner and operator of Sue Hubbard and Associates in Creston, which stands two stallions and manages approximately 100 mares and foals.

Hubbard previously managed Monty and Pat Roberts’s equine operation and designed and developed Oak Hill Farm in Paso Robles and Rancho San Miguel in San Miguel.

Hubbard also sells equine and farm insurance.

Those interested in donating items for a silent auction, assisting during the fundraiser, or making a donation may contact Debbie Winick at 626-975-3931 or send mail to Friends of Sue, P.O. Box 4009, Paso Robles, CA, 93447.
