Santa Anita selects Gutterman for marketing position

Allen Gutterman, who has served as vice president of marketing for the past six years at Hollywood Park, has been named vice president of marketing at Santa Anita Park.Gutterman, who also has marketing experience in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, and Texas, will begin his new position immediately.

"We're elated to bring Allen aboard," said Santa Anita President Ron Charles. "He brings a breadth of experience and keen understanding of our market that will serve Santa Anita and our fans well."

Gutterman is looking forward to his new position.

"This is the opportunity of a lifetime and I'm thrilled to join the Santa Anita team," Gutterman said. "Ron and I have discussed the fact that there is no grander racetrack in America, and on its best days, no better show in town. If you love horse racing, Santa Anita is the absolute pinnacle."
